Falling Towards/Flying Away is a duet for camera performed in the architectural void of the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts. Guided by a site-specific score, two performers move through the space with gestures of falling and flight, responding to its emptiness and the weight of colonial history.

Falling Towards/Flying Away was first presented at Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts, as part of the 2024 Judy Wheeler Commission, made possible by the generosity of the Simpson Family.
